Born in Montreal (1965), Michael Abraham began his studies in life drawing and compositional painting at the Ontario College of Art (1984-88). In his fourth year of OCA he was awarded the top figure drawing award. He was teacher’s assistant during a year of postgraduate education in Florence, Italy (1990-91). At that time his studio was located in Piazza San Marco, in Florence, with a wealth of art and history to study and enjoy! Abraham has been painting full time since 1992. He travels to see art often, including two months spent in New York in the fall of 2005. Other than the odd crisis of mind, he enjoys music, food, fitness, piano playing, weekly figure drawing, nature and a happy family life. He currently lives and creates in Vancouver, British Columbia.
3 hours 15 minutes per lesson with 30 minutes break. Coffee, tea and refreshments are provided. Student may use reference photos provided during class, they may also bring their own photos, or painting still life under the guidance of the instructor.
$ 110 / session Tax, Refreshment, 2 canvases All art supply included.
5 session Pass: $ 525
10 session Pass: $ 1000
Both Pass can be used for adult courses or paint night, valid for 6 months from registration date.
$85/session Tax included bring your own art supply.
5 session Pass: $ 400
10 session Pass: $750
Both Passes can be used for adult art classes. Pay difference for paint night event. Valid for 6 months from registration date.
February to April Mondays (except for holiday) 10:45 am – 2:00 pm accepting registration, 12 adult students per class.
